Inlaid items ( cuffs and bangles) can be resin coated for extra protection, it is not normally necessary but will give added protection if you are particularly hard on your bracelets.
It is a clear resin coating which gives added protection to the braid and results in a gloss finish.
It does darken chestnut hair.
